ABOUT ME

CINTHYA PAVAN

I was born and raised in Brazil from an Italian backgrounded family.

Travelling has been the main “activity” I have had for the past 30 years. 

A week before I turned 21, I left Brazil to live in the USA (Los Angeles) where I stayed for 5 great years. I have worked in the Hospitality Industry to get acquainted with better skills in my field.

I had the opportunity to work and live in Santiago, Chile for a year as well. In 1998, and after some years working as a tour guide in Brazil, I joined my very first cruise ship as a shore excursion staff.

A long adventure at sea started and I was privileged to have travel around the world. Within a few years, I became a manager and worked as a Tour Manager on board cruise ships for almost 17 years. Some companies I have worked for: Swan Hellenic, Silverseas, Crystal Cruises, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas.

While at sea, I started calling Italy as my new home from 2006 onwards and found love. 

My life at sea was a big passion, but I wanted to spend more time with my husband, so in 2014 I bid farewell to cruise ships and began an adventure as a Tour Manager for many renowed tour operators worldwide.

I have also lived in Basel, Switzerland and worked on a Product Development project on shore excursions for Viking Cruises. While organizing to return to Italy, I started working on my own business starting consulting and training for private clients and smaller tour companies. 

I moved back to Italy in 2018 and we are a family of 3 now: my husband, myself and Miki – a lovely and very energetic (spoiled) male Jack Russell Terrier!  

I currently work with my own company and have the privilege of being part of Aquila Center for Cruise Excellence as a Global Trainer

Travelling and Hospitality are my number 1 (lucky enough to do this as my work !) but I also adore

food, wine, writing, reading, dancing, water-related stuff , animals, landscapes, nature and people.

Love laughs, hugs, motivational talks and good chats as well.
